American Software Inc (AMSWA US, +1, 01-July-24)
James Miller (Chair since 2024, Non-Executive 2002-2024) purchased $2.7 million of stock during June at an average of $8.97, more than tripling his holding. This is an extremely unusual buy, his first in the stock despite a long tenure and much his largest buy across his other roles (currently Executive Chairman at Ameris and historically Chair and CEO of Fidelity Southern Corporation).
The purchase may have been influenced by his recent move to Chair, replacing the co-founder and Executive Chairman James C. Edenfield, but this is nevertheless a very unusual buy.
Matthew Mckenna (Non-Executive since 2017) purchased $43,000 of stock on the 26th of June. His purchase is less unusual, in line with his history, but supports a positive ranking.
We are ranking the stock +1 (strong positive signal).
